Geneva has about 200k people. Since Switzerland is not a very big country, Geneva is a big city both in terms of population and beauty. There are many reasons why this city is famous. For example, the headquarters of several major organizations are located here, including the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, and the Red Cross also. The sign of the Red Cross is very similar to the flag of Switzerland because the Red Cross was founded in Switzerland in 1863. You know, Geneva is a free city; it is very comfortable for walking. Its environment is so quiet and silent that it feels very fresh. 

There is an amazing lake in Geneva which is so fascinating. There is a bridge named pont du mont-blanc that should be your first attraction. And you should know that the bridge sways a little while walking or jogging. So you can enjoy an aesthetic view from this bridge. There is an amazing water flow in Lake Geneva (Lac Léman). I have never seen this type of waterfall before. I think it will be a surprising view for you if you see it.

Another attraction of Geneva is the Floral Clock (L’Horloge Fleurie). The clock is built on top of a huge flower bouquet, which looks very beautiful and unique, and it operates on its own mechanism.The second hand of this clock is the largest clock hand in the world. As many of you may know, the Swiss tradition is to make quality watches, so they built this watch in 1955 to keep that tradition alive. And yes, since the clock is covered with flowers, it changes shape every season, giving different looks.

There is another landmark in Geneva’s old city called Place du Bourg-de-Four and it is their oldest public square. It was built when the Romans ruled here.

You can see an 850-year-old cathedral in this city. It is the oldest cathedral here. all times, a crowd of tourists can be seen here to visit this cathedral.

One of the problems with this old town is – there are a lot of cars coming and going, in short order. Which destroys the charm here. In this old part of Geneva, there is a park called Parc des Bastions. Its so beatiful and the interesting thing is that you can play chess with your buddy on large boards. Each piece is one to one and a half feet high.

There is another attraction in this park named the Reformation Wall (Mur des Réformateurs). These are all statues, and they have a lot of historical significance. It is an international symbol of reform known as the Reformation Wall. It was created in Geneva in 1909.

Also, in this park, there are many unusual types of trees and many kinds of fruits that you may have never seen before. This park has been designed in such a way that a lush green area of natural and ancient beauty has emerged.
